We would like to welcome you and your child to Grantham Park Primary School. We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential.

We recognize that to be successful at school, our children need support from the home and from school. We know that a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education.

Please find below all the necessary information that will be needed for the new school year:

School Times

Grade R: Monday to Friday: 07h25 – 12h35

Grade 1-7: Monday to Thursday: 07h25 – 14h00 / Friday: 07h25 – 13h00

School Fees

Grade R:

R 16 280.00

Paid over 10 months at R 1 628.00 per monthNo Exemption or Discount applies for Grade R fees

R 14 650.00

• Paid over 10 months at R1 465.00 per month

• 10% Discount on full school fees if paid before 31.03.2025

• The school fees is payable upfront or monthly by debit order (compulsory)

• Please use the correct reference when making payments.

• You are liable for school fees UNLESS you are totally exempted from paying school fees.

• Exemption Application Forms (Annexure B) are available at the office from 15 January 2025. Contact Ms Masuku in the Accounts office should you need assistance.

• Application for Exemption should be made at the beginning of each year. Closing date for application is 31.03.2025

Aftercare

The Aftercare is situated on the school premises where at least one staff member will be supervising your child. The hours and costs are as follows:

•12:30-17:00 – R5 160.00 p.a (Paid over 10 months at R516 per month)

If you wish to enrol your child in Aftercare, please collect the application form from the office.

Uniform

The uniform will now be sold at the school. Parents will be informed when the uniform shop is operational.

Please familiarise yourself with the attached Dress Code regarding the school uniform. Our school uniform is available at the following shops:

Grade R – R 1000.00 stationery fee payable on application.

Grade 1 to 7 – stationery lists are given to learners
